WIGGA --- n. colloq., slang: a "white nigger", i.e., white person whose behavior mimics stereotypical "black" behavior of the inner-city or "ghetto" variety. A wigga may wear "ghetto" clothing, have black mannerism, listen to rap and other black music, and may even speak fluidly in Ebonics. In fact, some wiggas even speak Ebonics as a first language. Unlike the word "nigger", "wigga" is taken as a compliment by those who wish to identify themselves as such. Wiggas have been known to date black people exclusively, live in all-black areas, and may even refer to other whites by racial slurs, such as "honky", "cracker", "whitey" or "stupid-ass white people".
Wiggas have been great friends of this author since childhood, and are still kept in his e-mail listings and phone numbers. The author has no ill-feelings towards wiggas whatsoever. Wiggas are cool with me! However, the author still does not know if wiggas allow non-wigga whites to refer to them as a wigga or wigger without risking an assault. In addition, this author has seen several wiggas "de-wiggafy" and adopt "normal" white behavior if they are offered a decent paying corporate job with great benefits. In fairness to my wiggaz, the author must admit that he has also observed the adopting of "normal" white behavior in himself and some other minorities as well. Hey, whatever it takes to keep a job!
CORNROLLS --- n. colloq., slang: another type of braided hair style worn by black people. Cornrolls particularly note the braids that lay flat on the head as opposed to the types of braided hair style that dangles. Usually black women and children wear cornrolls, but some black men, particularly some of those who have been incarcerated or call themselves "niggaz" (note that no white person or perceived outsider is allowed to refer to them by the "n" word without risking physical assault) have been known to wear cornrolls, such as the rapper Coolio. Note that wiggas may also be seen wearing cornrolls as well. The hair style takes a little more effort to maintain in thinner hair, but a wigga in cornrolls offers a good testament to what the human mind can accomplish with enough grit and determination.
